I’ve been doing quite a bit of reading recently but ‘Me Before You’ by Jojo Moyes, really got under my skin (in a good way) and so I wanted to share. It’s about a man who has a serious accident and has to deal with life as a quadriplegic, and the young woman that gets a job caring for him. It’s full of the realities of living with a disability and there are some real tear-jerker moments, but it’s also full of love and friendship and very funny too.
I loved it and it’s one of only a few books I’ve read where I felt I actually knew one of the characters. Not Lou, who is the narrator, but Will. He just felt so real!
It’s not a deep book, but it’s still touched me and will be one I remember.
Give it a read if you get chance!
